Usually the ATO takes up to 14 days to process tax returns, however processing times can vary depending on other circumstances.

For quarterly payments, superannuation is due to be paid by the 28th day following the previous quarter end.

For quarterly BAS, generally the 28th day after the quarter end. However, if you lodge through Initiative you are automatically given a two week extension. Monthly BAS are due the 21st day after the month end.

If you are an individual or small business tax payer, your tax returns are due to be lodged by the 15 May following year end. For larger taxpayers, tax returns are due to be lodged by 31 March following year end.
